How many of each animal did Noah take onto the ark?

I wonder how it was possible to fit 2 of every species of animal onto the ark. There are 1.6 million different species of mammals alone. If they still exist today then according to the bible that would mean they were on the ark. Don't you think a ship that big would have some sort of physical remains of it somewhere? Archaeologists are able to find fossils of prehistoric bacteria, but where is the ark? I wonder how shitty of a job it had to be to find all these different animals for the ark. At least they got that magical rainbow for their effort
