Transfer students & changing majors... HELP PLEASE!?

So I've just been accepted to UC Berkeley as a transfer student from a community college for this fall semester. The problem is that when I applied, I indicated my intended major as Comparative Literature, but I am now realizing that I would like to switch to English. How likely is it that I would be able to make this change? Are transfer students allowed to change their majors?
