How come some gay people are too vibrant?

i can understand being gay, and im perfectly fine with that. but earlier today i had a gay plummer help me install a tub and, his lisp just, annoyed me. and he was on the phone with his BF like half the time we we're working. i mean, i have gay/bi friends, but they're just normal people. why do some people have to wear pastels and talk with a lisp? and walk like a fashionista?
