Why does human society need jobs?

why do humans have jobs but animals dont? what makes jobs necessary in the human world? seems like most jobs are not necessary news reporter, search engine optimization guys, teller at the bank, computer programmer, furniture store, restaurant. why do these exist? who cares? how come animals don't need furniture stores bank tellers or new reporters?
