Physical Therapist istant or Occupational Therapist istant for someone with SLE (Systemic Lupus)...?

I have always wanted to work in the healthcare field, but have had some limitations due to my health. I have lupus and I am taking immunosuppressants. I am considering either a PTA or OTA program. I had heard that working as a PTA involves would care. Is this true? I appreciate any advice.
